MOTÖRHEAD's LEMMY Records Second 'Solo' Track With SKEW SISKIN
December 28, 2003MOTÖRHEAD's Ian "Lemmy" Kilmister spent time at Berlin's Monongo studios between December 15 and 18 for another session with SKEW SISKIN to record a second track for his upcoming solo album. The songtitles are "Stand Upon The Mountain" and "Don't Matter To Me", both written by Lemmy and performed by SKEW SISKIN with Lemmy on bass and vocals.
As previously reported, Lemmy recently spoke to Playlouder about his upcoming solo album, which is tentatively due in late 2004/early 2005.
"I have to do it between MOTÖRHEAD and there isn't much in between MOTÖRHEAD," Lemmy laughed. "I've got five tracks so far. I've done two tracks with THE REVERED HORTON HEAT, two tracks with THE DAMNED... all originals except a cover of 'Neat Neat Neat' with THE DAMNED — I'm playing the bass on that as well and it sounds pretty fucking mental.
"I was talking to [big-busted British model] Jordan about doing a track with me when I met her in a club in London one night but I never heard from her again. I'd like a really weird mix of people on the album. I'd like to do something with Jeff Beck — see if I can get him into a YARDBIRDS frame of mind when he was fucking great."
